"I bought a ring from this place recently. The Lady shopkeeper told me that the ring was a 22-carat ring. I bought it and paid the payment by card. She did not want me to give the payment receipt. She said we are not allowed to provide payment receipts for such small purchases. We only provide payment receipts for jewelery that is made on order. I insisted on the receipt, and then she created one rough receipt without my name. She just mentioned the weight of the ring and the payment amount. I asked her to write the carats of the rings as well, but she did not listen to me and said it is enough. I got the ring checked by another jeweler, and it came out that the ring is 18 carats."
"Good and reasonable especially ask for Neha she is amazing and will give you good rate :)"
"Bad customer services, they charge extra for nothing, and if you say oh we are paying cash than they are ready to give you discount. I bought a ring from them , and resized it, color gets faded from resizing joint, remind you gold color never gets fade. They never accepted they fault, try to avoid them."
"I went to get something from southall branch. But staff seems very arrogant. On asking just pointing out I.e. bangles are on that side. But there is no such thing call customer service. They don't seems to welcome their customer."
"They have been fined more than £7,000 by a court after pleading guilty to a string of hallmarking offences. A Hallmarking guarantees that the item on sale has been independently tested and for a jeweller, it is a legal requirement for an Assay Office to hallmark articles containing precious metals if they've been described as such. Mr Atif Waseem of Shamail Gold Ltd, trading as Waseem Jewellers 130 The Broadway, has pleaded guilty to all 19 charges under the Hallmarking Act 1973 and a further charge under the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. 16 gold rings, 1 gold pendant, 2 three-piece gold pendant sets All were seized by trading standards team and passed to the London Assay Office for inspection. But when they were tested, none of the items on sale were legally hallmarked, with one piece described as 18-carat when it was listed as 22-carat. Mr Waseem was fined £3,500 for all charges and ordered to pay costs of £3,882 and a victim surcharge of £181 (total £7,563). So if you're going to buy a piece of jewellery for a loved one this Christmas, be sure to check it's properly hallmarked. But if you have Brought jewellery from Waseem Jewellery double check it."
