"I have been using the original Petloc lead where the collar is adjustable for just under two years now which is very similar to the current one. To prevent anyone undoing the lead and stealing the dog when bending down to make a fuss of my dog on the lead while on a walk. Over time the wires kept poking out the ends of the seams which then had to be cut off which I could live with but today the lead snapped on the metal which attaches the fabric part of the lead to the swivel lock. My dog only weighs under 12KG and didn't pull very hard for this to happen and ran across the road when he saw another dog he knows. Fortunately it was a quiet road so no cars were driving down it at the time. So considering how much this lead costs it is poorly made and I wouldn't recommend it as the latest version still uses the same fitting and if it breaks and the dogs runs off it could be disastrous."
