Reviews
"Dear JP I have been made aware of your review. I am grateful you have let me know how distressed you were by my refusal to accept information about my client. I understand your concern, but I feel that as a counsellor, I should be listening to the person who sees me rather than to family members who are angry with them. As you were quite forceful, I felt that I had to reply quite clearly in reply. I am sorry that my holding a boundary felt rude to you, but I did this to be protective. I hope that the situation does continue to improve for everyone including you. Yours Jill Edwards"
"Would give zero stars but unable too!!! Incredibly unprofessional, Tried calling to pass on helpful information regarding family members she was counselling, she declined saying she would have to ask said family member when it was confidential & I wasn’t asking for her to tell me about their sessions or anything that was spoken on. She then contacted the family member & told them I contacted her which created problems. I work in mental health and I understand confidentiality in all forms which I didn’t breach! She certainly did though! Very rude and unfriendly manner."
"Jill Edwards is a warm, kind and caring woman. I was at first sceptical of visiting a counsellor as I wasn’t sure about it and didn’t understand how it would work but I was desperate so I had to try something. 3 months on I am a different person, I feel stronger, confident and I am excited about what tomorrow brings. Although I still have some work to do Jill has helped me turn my life around, something which I never thought was possible. I would recommend Jill to anyone who is suffering from depression and anxiety."
