"LOVE this park. It has a decent park for the kids, an outdoor mini golf section alongside the park, toilets (not used them to know cleanliness). There is a long circular pathed area around the field, and there are pathways that lead further afield, but I've not yet explored. Great for dog walks or for the kids on their bikes. There is a stream to the one side that is up over an embankment, so it is safe for children to play without worry. There is a hut with some drinks and food, and they sometimes host events there, such as the fair. An outdoor gym. Tennis courts. A skating park. The list probably goes on. Not a huge amount of parking but I've always found a space. You do pay for parking here."
"One of our favourite open spaces walk along the river side... or huge amounts of green & path . Play area for kids to"
"Nice huge park, long walking trail along the pond is nice. Public restrooms (free) are available. Tredegar Palace and garden areas are nice (entry ticket required to go inside) Bit far from Newport town, visit if you have few extra hours to spare."
"We always love our visits here. Cheap car parking, lots of open space for the kids to roam and a brilliant park for them too. I love the little shops, and the food in the cafe always smells amazing (can't comment on taste as we always picnic). Toilets on site, don't remember seeing any baby changing though. A really great place to spend the day with the family, including pets."
"Great park for children, big enough to entertain lots at the same time. Has play equipment with different difficulty for younger and older children. Also have crazy golf, football area. Occasionally there might be bouncy castles. Recommend for 2.5 years +."
