"Me and my family love Charnwood water, you would see us around the water with our giant black lab called mylo who we sadly lost on the 28/8/2022. There are a lot of very friendly locals that walk the water, and I suppose you could call it a bit of a community of dog walkers and bird watchers/feeders. Hope to be back to our routine soon and see our friends."

"A nice quiet lake,not big but not small. Good path around to walk. Via off slightly to look over the bridge at the Central railway. Walk the dog, kids or just yourself. Flat grass area for a summer picnic. Reasonable sized car park. Don't litter!"
"My friend and I had a very nice dog walk around the lake. The blossom of some of the trees was just coming out in flower. The lake water was crystal clear and very beautiful. The car parking was very good. Just remember to take notice of when the gates get closed in the evening or you might be locked in for the night. Nice place though."
