"The shop entrance stinks of urine and cigarettes.. once inside there is a rude old lady who asks inappropriate questions and laughs at your answers .. felt extremely uncomfortable. I went elsewhere and was extremely pleased .. AVOID!!!"

"Bought a chain from assets I was told it was in perfect condition didn't realise it had a previous repair they wouldn't refund me for my chain, two weeks after having my rope chain the link snapped on it's own, I took it in for repair and the repair was awful I put it away in my bedside table for 4 months as I never used it again, I decided to sell it and after removing it from my draw once again it snapped in my hand this time while holding it. I could examine the previous repair properly and it was terrible looped on one side and solidered on the other by nothing more than a tooth floss of weld."
"Very disappointed with this place. Went to get an engagement ring resized and was told a week at the longest but should be quicker. Popped in a couple of times to see if it had been done but no luck. Went in to pick up the ring on the day they said it was going to be ready but it had not been done! No reason given as to why it had not been done and poor attitude from the staff, the woman in the shop asked if it was for a special occasion which is an odd question to ask about an engagement ring! So went to another Newport jeweller and got it done in two days for £20 cheaper than Assets quoted. Would not recommend this place to anyone thinking of buying or resizing jewellery."
