Boots

"Very handy Boots on the A65 at Guiseley. It's housed in an old Burger King building, which makes it very easy to pop into and out of, when travelling in your car. It has its own car park, which I have never known to be completely full. It did offer a drive through prescription service which was very quick, though I haven't used this in a while, so I cannot vouch for it still being open for this. Prescriptions can be fulfilled by going into the shop, too. It is obviously not the size of a city centre Boots, and consequently there is not the same level of stock, but it has all supplies you would expect from a small town sized pharmacy, with the advantage of Boots' prices, which are very good on their own brand goods. I usually go in for toiletries, first aid kit supplies, toothbrush heads, items needed when travelling, non-prescription medicines, and cold drinks / sandwiches - the usual things you would find in all Boots. Staff have always been friendly. Now the till near the door is available, it does not take long to get served for regular purchases, prescriptions do take a little longer as it is usually quite busy at that counter. Highly recommend coming here."

"I’m still currently sat in the store waiting on my prescription. It has been an hour now and I’ve been told it’ll still be a little longer and to sit down. Really unacceptable service."

"Had to go pick a prescription from Boots in GUISELEY today. I was greeted by a lovely lady at the counter and when I explained my reason for being there went straight to the pharmacist. She explained it would take a few minutes. I had gone in just after they had opened so expected a little wait. It wasn't long before the pharmacist came out with my medication. He explained everything, how and when it was to be taken etc - something my usual chemist has never done! Both members of staff I dealt with were very polite, helpful and friendly throughout my visit. Highly recommended the store and am even thinking of changing from my usual chemist. Excellent service"

"They are a chemist / pharmacy, they dispense doctors prescriptions, what more is there to say about that? They are slow on occasions due to under-staffing, but not this time and I noticed a couple of new faces behind the counter, so staffing issues are maybe sorted. In addition their retail goods side of the business is expensive so well worth doing that at other retailers..."

"A standard medium sized Boots that unusually had a drive through prescription collection not by design bit because it was first a fish and chip shop, then a burger king, then an Indian restaurant and now Boots. I use this one because I pass it on the way home and they get my prescriptions ready on time around 50% of the time. Store is accessible, staff are lovely and lots of free parking."
