Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport - Nec, an IHG Hotel

"Excellent for a 3star hotel! Staff is super friendly, especially at dinner time when it’s busy, they are like a in a 5 star hotel. Always smiling , ready to accommodate you and offering very quick service. The pool and hot hub are magnificent, especially when there are no swimming lessons. My room was very comfy, all I could possibly need for a good night sleep. The shuttle is a great bonus and always on time. Since I was attending the NEC spring fair, it was extremely convenient. During my 4 nights stay, I never went to the city- why go when all I needed was at the holiday inn?! Cheers and keep up the good work! Thank you!"

"Had to stay here for a week on business and we were very pleased! The staff were extremely polite and friendly. The rooms were a great size, clean and well decorated - which is needed when spending a week in them! Loved the option of using a microwave in the public area, this was a serious game changer! Usually on business we have to eat out every night and it can get rather tiring. Been able to just grab a microwave meal etc from the shop and chill out in the room to eat was perfect for us. The facilities were nice and clean. Breakfast was included and it was yum! Will definitely come back."

"We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Birmingham for the first time and we were exceptionally pleased with our stay. Room- our room was incredibly clean and bed was really comfortable. Customer service- staff was very polite and helpful, especially in the dinning/bar area. Made us and our son feel very welcome. Amenities- the pool, jacuzzi, changing rooms and toilets were all outstandingly maintained. Our son really enjoyed his pool experience. I would say this hotel is well above 3 star with all it offers. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so delightful!"

"Good location for the airport only a short 5 minute taxi ride. Large car park. Outside seating area for food and drink. Rooms are a good size, very clean Front staff explained how everything works, food, bar, parking, breakfast, pool etc. Very friendly staff. Food was served very quickly, our server was also very polite and apologetic about the coke being off line and brought us the drinks as soon as she could, no problems. Check out was quick and easy"

"What an outstanding hotel. Don't be deceived by the "Holiday Inn" facade, this this is a 5 star hotel which people might think is simply an everyday cheap hotel next to an airport. The rooms are outstandingly comfortable, spotlessly clean and well serviced with every amenity you could wish for. The beds are amongst the most comfortable I have ever slept in and are up there with my own bed at home! The restaurant is extremely well run and the whilst the evening menu might appear basic, it is very well cooked, extremely tasty and well-presented and served. The catering staff are unbelievably friendly and so very helpful. The breakfast in this hotel deserves a global catering accolade...you will find this very very hard to beat anywhere and I say this from travelling the globe-probably the best full English on the planet and no limit on how much you can take. The Gym and swimming pool are exceptional for such a busy hotel and again very clean. Accessibility is better than most hotels, early in the morning through to quite late at night. I have stayed here several times and will always make a beeline for this hotel in the area above all others. All in all, fantastic."
