"Took my cat in for assessment, they recommended several hundreds of pounds worth of tests to diagnose. I decided to take her elsewhere with more realistic fees (PDSA), but wanted pain relief medication in the interim. They refused to supply or sell unless I committed to having my cat put down with them "in the cat's interests". If it was in the cat's interests, you wouldn't have offered the medication in the first place (along with price tag), and you'd still sell it for the cat's health and wellbeing. The entire encounter felt like a hustle to charge their extortionate fees. I took my cat to the PDSA the next day, they were fantastic!"
