"Pathetic service, I walked in to open an account and they made me wait for almost three hours, I have to come out as they don't know when they going to attend me. If they explained this before I start waiting I wouldn't have continued. The staff didn't even apologise me for the delay, intact they were arguing with me. Thank god! I missed to open the account after I read the reviews here. Stay away from this bank/branch."
"I wish I can give them a 0 star, the staff is very rude , a polite suggestion if you don’t like your job just quit and give opportunity to others . Come on I’ve done my graduation in financial accounting I’ve knowledge how to do things don’t try to make me fool okay ? I travelled from edwalton to Leicester to get a normal work done but you guys!!! METRO BANK is a amazing bank but the staff in Leicester is horrible ."
"Went in to set up an account and it was a bafflingly convoluted and lengthy process lasting weeks until we just gave up. The staff are friendly and I wouldn't knock them, but considering the branch prides itself on opening late, you have to arrive very early just to be told they'll ring you when someone is available. If it's after 2pm there's no chance. After all that we were told to get different types of identification - meaning the entire wait was pointless. Why they couldn't let us know what they needed beforehand is beyond me. It's almost like Metro Bank doesn't want your service. And to top it all off, they didn't even have the free lollipops the last time we went!"
"If i could give less than one star i would. Been a customer several years, first time i ask for something, get fobbed off. You need to be s tech guru to get through their security. Completely kacking in understanding & empathy thst not everyone is computer literate to the level they demand. Will be closing account, if possible ? Stay away unless prepared for chaos."
"3 times Iv had bad experience with staff who have not been trained in banking or financial transactions, staff did not have a clue about how community accounts work, how customers can withdraw cash with cheque books and how many people are mandated to operate Charity accounts. At least give your staff some training sessions before throwing them onto the front line."
