"Couldn’t speak highly enough of the Pennards team in West Malling. Every time we’ve had to take our dog there, we’ve been seen quickly, got an accurate diagnosis and a course of treatment to resolve any problems. Super friendly team and excellent at what they do"
"The male vet we saw was very helpful and informative and all the others people who worked there were very friendly and helpful. My only gripe was taking a biopsy from my dog could of been a bit less painful if numbing creme was applied , I found it a bit off-putting especially when she cried out loud when the needle went in a few times."
"First visit to this vets with our cat Luna, got an appointment straight away. Joined petplan for a very good price each month for excellent services included unlimited vet appointments, flea and worming treatments and vaccinations as well as other benefits. Seen on time had a full health check and vaccination lovely vet, answered any questions was gentle and patient. Cannot fault anything from start to finish highly recommend"
"I previously used Abbotsely for over 20 years until they were taken over by Pennards. Peter and Ute were both exceptional vets and had treated our various dogs / cats / rabbits over the years. Since Pennards have taken over the practice has become unrecognisable. I am rarely able to get an appointment in West Malling which means a trip to either Sevenoaks or Tonbridge (I used to be able to get a same day appointment and walk our dogs round the corner), Ute has now left the group altogether. They refused to provide standard worm /flea treatment which I had purchased for decades without examining the cats at a minimum charge of £50 per animal and the cost of these standard treatments has already increased. My dog had a not uncommon issue with her paws, first the vet (who I was sent to Sevenoaks to see) failed to provide any treatment, rather ascertained whether she was insured and then referred her for an appointment with the in house dermatologist (lengthily wait for that appointment and incredible cost), who rather than prescribe anything then said she should be DNA tested at further costs to see whether the problem was genetic… genetic or not it was treatment I required. In the meantime the problem resolved as I did my own research and bought treatment online. All in all, the practice has gone from a well run, accessible one offering fantastic treatment to an altogether different approach focused on making as much money as possible."
