"As you can see from my profile, I don't usually write reviews, but Thomas & Co deserve to be recognised for their wonderful service. . My partner and I were in the process of applying for our mortgage to buy our first house. We first started off with London & Country Mortgages who were no help and kept telling us our mortgage has been declined by the bank and they couldn't give us a reason why and suggested we look elsewhere. When I got in touch with the bank, they said it has not been declined they are waiting for further documentation and that my mortgage broker was made aware of this (this happened twice with them as I did go back to them the first time and say our case is still open). I could never get in touch with my case worker, and they would close my case and not tell me until I contacted them! My colleague then recommended Nexus, who were great to start off with but then also said they can't help us and couldn't give us a reason. Our case was a bit complicated because my partner is still awaiting his British citizenship but has permission to live and work here. I am still on probation at work, and I have started a new job so obviously the paperwork for us is a bit more and the banks needed more documentation. Anyway, my partner's friend recommended Thomas & Co to us, and I cannot explain how lovely and helpful they all were. At this point my partner and I were both so stressed and had lost hope. We originally spoke to Graham who helped us open our case and phoned me to go through everything with me and I explained everything that had happened. Graham was lovely and made me laugh which was what I needed. I could tell he cared he wasn't just doing this because it was his job. Cameron Brannan then got in touch with us, and he was our angel in disguise. He was working on our case in so much detail and spent so much time and put in so much effort. He constantly gave me updates and would even get in touch with the bank for updates if it was left for a few days. He would reassure me and was completely honest with me about everything. Cameron left no room for error and provided everything to the bank so that there were no problems. When the mortgage was accepted (which was sooner than expected because Cameron would chase things up for us), Cameron personally rang me to give me the good news. I felt very comfortable and at ease with Cameron, we would have conversations in between updates so we were constantly in touch. His replies are amazing, you won't have to wait long. He always makes time for you. Again, with Cameron I could tell he really did care, he wasn't just doing this for the sake of his job, he was putting in extra effort for us which made the experience so great. I sent Cameron a thank you card at the end, this is something I haven't done before, but I felt like no matter what I do it won't be enough to repay him for everything he had done. I wanted to show him gratitude and hopefully make his day just like he made ours. I recommend Thomas & Co 100%, any problems you have they will work around it to help you. They won't refuse or send you elsewhere. They go above and beyond. It is worth every penny you pay, and I have already recommended them to my friends. My partner and I will definitely come back to them in the future. I have written a very detailed review because I want people to be able to see my experience and hopefully know that I am not just saying these things, I literally mean it."
