Reviews of Re:ACT Performing & Production Arts
"A fantastic group of people that provide excellent opportunities for those looking to get into the creative world! A professional, thoughtful and hard working organisation, that frequently put on fantastic large scale productions. Would highly recommend to anyone!"
"Re:Act's performance of Blood Brothers was absolutely brilliant! This particular show can be quite deep and difficult to pull off, but the Re:Act kids did themselves proud. I loved the non-traditional performance without a 'stage' a such - to me it really revitalised the production. You could tell how hard these young people have worked on this and I applaud them - I could never get up and do what they do! I can't wait for the next Re:Act show - well done to everyone involved - you should all be very proud. ⭐"
"I am honestly so lucky to have had the privilege of being part of such an inclusive, aspiring and phenomenal place, where I am surrounded by incredibly talented students. Not only have I been a student at Re:ACT for the best part of 9 years, I have been given the amazing opportunity to be apart of the team, passing on my knowledge and skills to future performers. Creating and developing a wide range of performances, which focus equally on each discipline, allowing every student to broaden their skill set to the fullest."
"Being a Student at Re:ACT for 5 years has been such a wonderful and beneficial experience. The team are all fantastic and strive to help every student achieve success. Every student and team member ensure you feel welcome and comfortable in any environment thus creating a diverse community where you make friends for life. Not only are the shows the most memorable experiences where the performances are extremely professional with incredible production elements, but the rehearsals are also an amazing experience where you mix with such talented people and everyone wants to see each other succeed. You feel at home at Re:ACT."
"Went to see blood brothers at the Tropicana premormed by this drama group. We paid £26.00 for two tickets to see this play. I myself have seen the musical numerous times and I do understand that a musical would be very different to what Re:ACT put on at the Tropicana but it was never worth the price of the ticket. The lead female Mrs Johnson we couldnt hear her, you had very few props, and to be honest it should have had better lighting, and been preformed on a stage. When you advertise a performance as well known as blood brothers you need to at least get it right! the performance you put on would have been better suited to a church hall or small community centre maybe for a £3.00 ticket as that was all it was worth to be perfectly honest. We would never go and pay to see anything else preformed by Re: ACT."
