"I’ve eaten here several times and if you are looking for somewhere that does a steak, and does it well, then look no further. The menu has a good range of dishes and I’m sure there would be something to suit anyone’s diet with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available. If you are visiting Holmfirth it would be the top of my list of places to go! Attentive and friendly staff with a nice atmosphere in a wonderful setting. What more could you want?"

"Our first time at 1014. A little quiet and not much atmosphere but, most places are quieter than normal in January. Staff were very friendly. Starters were both beautiful, for mains my fillet was slightly over cooked and slightly dry which should never really happen. The chicken chorizo skewers were excellent value. Despite the over cooked steak we would still give it another go in the future."
