"Grim place. Weren't taking card said it was 'due to changing providers' yeah right surely a reputable venue would pre plan a change of card supplier to avoid such issue. Many un-savoury clientele some desperate girls grinding and snogging every single male in there. Have to have drink in plastic cup can't have glass bottle becaue someone got stabbed in the area with a broken bottle says it all really. To be fair when the barman explained this to me he was very polite about it. Dirty really sticky floor. At the bar 2 of 3 bar staff faffing around with cups instead of serving punters. My girlfriend saw a young lady openly snort cocaine on the dance floor and went un challenged. Although benefit of the doubt maybe the staff didn't see this and hopefully if they had then they would have acted. Appreciate every venue gets a bad egg or two but still the fact she was so obvious about it (rather than going in the toilet etc) says something to me. Lots of bouncers on the one hand a good thing to make it safer but then ask your self why they need so many bouncers in the first place? A safe place doesn't need so many bouncers because the clientele are decent people so don't cause such a big risk. To be fair there were some people having an argument which the bouncer quickly and calmly dealt with which was good and there were some nice people in there one young lady complemented my girlfriend and was really pleasant . I think largely the clients were harmless and just trying to have a nice time. To be fair the bouncers were polite and pleasant enough also. This place is definitely a far nicer atmosphere than cocoa opposite. Clean the floors, have more staff serving customers instead of messing about with cups, keep the chavs out so you don't have to worry about people having glass bottles, enforce a dress code. Why are people in there with sport trainers and hoodies? Makes it a completely chavvy place. Clients should be turned away if not smartly dressed. Of course the negative things I say about the punters doesn't apply to everyone in there and there were some decent people having s genuinely nice time but overall it seemed to simply be the best of a bad bunch ."
