Reviews of Theatre in the hut
"What a lovely, quaint totally quirky little theatre. The production of Noel Coward's HAY FEVER was top notch. A really enjoyable night out"
"Lovely little theatre. Friendly staff. Limited parking. Great atmosphere"
"A valuable local theatre asset putting on good quality shows. Refurbed but not good for a long show. Seats uncomfortable well before the interval. Very limited bar but pleasant. Worth supporting despite the shortcomings."
"Great place for small performances or poetry nights (what I experienced), very spacious despite how it may seem on the outside. I would put 4.5 stars if I could, could do with more toilets but that's the only issue I had!"
"Share my experience.?. Ok. The wife booked this place. Tickets not very expensive . We followed google maps to get here but it's wrong. At the lights theres a chemist's keep right down the lane. Anyhoo!. On arrival we got a glass of wine and a thatchers gold. Sat in our chairs next to the radiator. The building is basically a big massive shed made into a theatre , of which I admire the effort. They where presenting a version of the film from the 70s from the tv series 'Are You Being Served'. If your not from that point in time I'm not explaining go on YouTube. . It was a good night . The amature actors put on a good show. It was an all round good effort. Which was thoroughly appreciated. Especially Mrs Slowcombe (tee hee) .Mr Jefferies (who in some scenes looks as though he has a delivery job for Amazon. He had a big package to deliver) and the Hotel owner who's name eludes me but I had a strange attraction too. (He had lovely teeth). Although Conchita the beautiful young maid? Mmmm!, I think she was pressing her luck.. We where promised a big Bang at the end of the performance, but sadly not the Bang I thought they where on about. So I put my cloths back on and we left. Mmmm "Im free". Ps. Well done Caeser the Spanish revolutionary Jamican Brummy Dictator . Brilliant!"
