"I stayed at The Titled Wig with my partner on the night before my birthday. We had a wonderful evening there. The venue is really cosy and welcoming and the food was really good too. Our room was lovely and comfortable and incredibly clean, we loved it. The staff at this venue are amazing! They were friendly and helpful and attentive and could not do enough for us. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. We would definitely stay at The Tilted Wig again. "Just had a great meal at The Tilted Wig. The food was top notch, well done chef. They clearly use a good butcher for their meat. It is tasty and made with care. And it does not cost as much as some of the local pubs across the way. The experience is of a very good standard so more than happy to recommend."
"The staff were very helpful: we were assisted to find a seat and table, with choice of food and bringing drinks. Neither of us went to the bar. I had 'rib eye pork on the bone', with chips and onion rings. I must absolutely say that I really enjoyed all of it, especially the meat. It was superb! The table was clean from the start. For drinks, I had two pints of an amber coloured real ale, which were satisfactory."
