Reviews of Manor Heath Park
"Love manor heath park, loads for the kids to do with the play area and the water play section. And loads of room for football and dogs to run around. Was a tad misty while we were there but still lovely. Little cafe was open so we could get a drink."
"Great mark, we have a 16 month old daughter and travel here. It's the best one in the area. The water play area made from the traditional paddling pool is great in summer. The slides and swings are for all ages. Set within a well maintained park with great grass areas. Credit to calderdale, (I'm really not there biggest fan) but this place is well looked after and maintained in the spirit of its original creators."
"Lovely park, quite huge, fantastic view, Saturday n Sunday car parking free for 4 hrs around the park, approachable from bus, restroom, small but multiple theme parks inside for kids, open gym. Wonderful place to spend time with friends and family for couple of hours. Jungle experience is temporarily closed."
"Great place to visit. It has a play area for older kids, a fenced off play ground, outdoor gym equipment, toilets, cafe, open park lands, a water play area, beautiful gardens, and a butterfly house currently under refurbishment so closed. We had an absolutely fantastic day here. Although I would recommend bringing beach shoes as some areas of the water play had green moss and were very sloppy, it's also good to know to bring some containers for tipping and pouring. I parked on a street that required you to use a parking meter, but I'm sure if I had, had a drive around there may have been free parking."
"Ran by Caledre council and well maintained Opening Hours: 6 AM to 6 PM(but opened longer duration in summer) Pros: 0. Free entry and use everything for free 1. Have 1 main entrance and 2 small entrance to walk in the park 2. Kids play area(6 months+) with 15 to 22 equipments 3. Adults excercise area with 5-7 equipments 4. 0.7 mi circumference to complete a round 5. Dogs allowed 6. Clean area 7. More than 40 stone benches to sit 8. Covered with trees and you could cook ur own food from home and eat there I guss. 9. 4 big Rest rooms 10. Canteen to buy food 11. Ice cream van inside park Cons: 1. Agressive Dogs(pitbull, bull dogs, doberman etc.. run in park in free style) are just scary. If runners are in the park, they should be careful"
