"You have to call them between 8am to 10am for appointments. Better to call early. Wait for your turn to book an appointment. If you are punctual then everything happens seem-lessly. Right from appointment to medical tests. There will be wait time for tests and further speciality consultation, unless its life threatening. Staff and GPs are kind and attentive."
"The staff are really polite and kind and the doctors are very helpful too. The only issue is with waiting times. But I get that. But honestly, guys, well done, keep up the good service."
"I visited the surgery this morning and unfortunately just whilst I was leaving home, 84yr old lady had a fall and I had to help her which got me 10 mins late. Was told by the lady at reception who wears glasses to wait but after an hour or so, I asked how far down the queue I am and was told two patients before me. Kept waiting only to see another 10 called in so went back to the reception after waiting another 20 mins to ask if I’m still two down on the list and was told doctors don’t like seeing patients who are late! I understand it’s my mistake I’m late and if I’m told it could be 2 or 3hrs before I’m seen by a doctor then that’s fine. I was late and I accept that but what makes this lady at the Two Steeples reception think it’s okay for her to lie and make people feel stupid by saying there are two patients before me when it was simply untrue and she is conscious of what she’s doing. I never turned up late by choice and it can happen to anyone. There is no need to treat people with such disrespect if you expect you and your staff to be treated with respect by patients. People don’t deliberately turn up late to upset, this lady with the glasses should have some degree of understanding how to deal with patients and be more upfront and not lie and mislead. She very well knows who she has dealt with today in such a rude and unprofessional manner and by looks of it, seems this is her normal behaviour towards patients."
"Having received a text inviting me to receive a covid / flu winter booster jab , i rang the surgery to make appointment ( as instructed) only to be told by the receptionist that neither jab was currently available , then said she had no idea when they would be getting any vaccine .and i should ring up once a week to see if any had arrived, i do find this a little baffling as why bother to to contact me in the first place to make appointment?. So all i can do is ring up once a week in the hope of getting vaccinated."
"I understand the pressure the receptionists may be under however, I wait in a queue from 8am rushing to drop the kids to school and get myself to work like many others would be doing too in the morning. I have to get off my phone when in the office and try call back only to for the receptionist to tell me the Doctor I need to see isn't available, he's fully booked, and that I should have rang at 8am! Next appointment in November! Radicalise waiting times to be seen. This has always been a problem at this Surgery, Something really needs to change."
