"Its annoying as it should be better. Nurses and drs do not work together. My girlfriend has been told last 4 days in all mornings she was 99% going home so obviously excited to come to myself and our week old son then late afternoon told otherwise. We would be so much happier to have no bull and to be told what is actually going. On a 2nd note me giving a 1 star feels harsh on some of the lovely ladies who have been so helpful and caring on ward 19 if the whole of hospital was like you this would be a 5 star review"
"Tried to call to be put through to the assessment dept for incoming heart emergency’s, my mum is 87 and taken in with chest and arm pains, she has Angina and has previously suffered from a heart attack. The receptionist tried to put me through 4 times, and each time I was put on another message and music, then cut off!!!! On the 5th time I explained to her that there must be something wrong with the phones, to which she replied ‘ what do you want me to do’ report it of course! She was oblivious of what I was asking, just acted like a robot! What kind of training do you give these people! People who phone are usually worried about a loved one , so why do you employ people who clearly have no initiative or sense of urgency, who manages all this! This is a case of mismanagement!! No emergency procedure if the phone lines are not working properly! Incompetence of the most insulting way, is this what our taxes are paying for! Disgusting! I finally have found out what’s happening , due to my sister ,who had saved the cardiac phone number direct , from the last time my Mum was in , Appalling situation !!"
