"With peaceful atnosphete i enjoyed a lot. The film was 3D, so obviously it doubles the enoyment. Popcorn and nachos were good. Overwall it was a value for the money visit."
"Why on earth can't the people working on the food counter take my card payment for drinks and sweets??? We went to choose our snacks and were told that we would have to go and order them from the machine. It's a good job my daughter was with me otherwise we would have gone hungry. I just wanted to deal with a person and not mess about when I am already tired from a full day of work. Thankfully we enjoyed the film and the staff were as helpful as they were allowed to be."
"Visiting the Odeon was sadley disappointing. There was at least 3 people on their phones constantly throughout the movie. One was a middleage woman with two kids, she even answered a phone call and had a chat during the film. The place was a mess afterwards. Obviously this isn't the fault of the Odeon or it's staff, just people making the cinema experience unpleasant for other folk. Our seats could do with reupholstering, as they are very worn and had chewing gum on it. On a positive note, the staff were nice and friendly. If you plan on visiting by car, check to see if Huddersfield are playing at home, as its a nightmare to park when a game is on. I doubt I'll be visiting again."
"Very unpersonable experience. Staff intent on making customers use mobile phone pre booking or touchscreen machines, for tickets, drinks etc instead of face to face sales. No personal direction for screens given. It was like meeting a bouncer and being prevented entrance to a bar or nightclub. The film we chose to see was enjoyable and for that reason alone we would visit again. The staff clearly are following company guidelines but need to be taught how to deal with the public, especially the older generation."
"As long as it's not a football match day then it is quite easy to get to and generally apart from at the weekends, not too busy. It's always slightly an issue when there is a narrow bridge to go over that is near to the actual place but as long as there are no significant bottlenecks then not only are you in a place where there are other eateries but the screens whilst not the largest are generally well maintained. It is a standard multiplex but the seating is more gradual rather than the steep inclines at some places."
