Reviews of YHA Haworth
"A great place for a big get-together. We hired the whole place and had a great time. The self service kitchen arrangement is awkward tho, being at the bottom of lots of steep stone steps, with the dining room upstairs from it so carrying hot food up and down was an issue. And the kitchen is not very big for multiple families to use. The wet room next to our room was functional but very tired and in need of a lick of paint. The beds were comfy and the rooms spacious. But overall a great place for multiple families to have a fun weekend! The surrounding Bronte countryside has lovely walks and the hostel was easy walking distance to all the shops."
"It's amazing place. My Kids have been having so much fun in the games room. Wifey enjoyed the self catering kitchen, laundry and the neighbourhood is super exciting to visit. From the three sisters cottage, to the Haworth Station and it's locomotive trains, to the Hill top, the Pub and the Fish & Chips restaurant."
"The building was beautiful and the staff were friendly and hospitable. However the lack of cleanliness left something to be desired. The rooms had an unpleasant smell and a mattress was also dirty, covered in a white substance. The kitchen was also very unhygienic and difficult to access for those with disabilities."
"The property is beautiful, albeit somewhat dated. It was clean, tidy and perfect for what I needed; a bed for the night. The staff are friendly, helpful and happy! I had a single private room and the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and there was plenty of space for me and my belongings. The hostel would benefit from more secure forms of storage for personal belongings, such as a laptop, cameras, a drone etc. but apart from that it's was excellent value for money."
"Got to say this house has bags of potential but needs a good renovation. We stayed with NCS and 13 of us had to share a toilet and shower because one weren't working. Them in room 5 said that they had been bitten and someone said they seen bed bugs, but another review also backs this up. But the staff were very nice and helpful. We had terrific food, the only things I didn't like was the coleslaw and sausages but im a very picky eater so please don't take this to heart, the house also has a games room and a vending machine on site and a massive garden we all could either sun bathe in or play games in."
