Reviews of Funtastic
"Kids had a fantastic time here, which is what i was so happy about. However, from a parents point of view, they don't clean between sessions, and it was quite sticky everywhere. I know this can be difficult, but other local play areas have still kept a 30 -1hr period between sessions, and it really shows."
"Great place, been here loads and we travel from a distance to get here, I really do feel like the parking is too limited and quite an issue for the size of the place, and the menu is a little basic. That being said we do love coming here and will always return again."
"Visited last week and I'm sad to say that the place has declined in many ways. Used to come often before lockdown and now have 4 children so I thought it would be ideal however there were quite a few issues. Firstly there was a major health and safety concern in the role play area plus a few other issue which my husband brought to staff attention. I'd like to think it will be addressed quickly. The air conditioning was so high it was freezing to the point of needing to wear coats and shivering, everyone around me was putting theirs back on and my baby was freezing layered up with a blanket on. The baby area had a lot of brown marks on the soft play equipment as it is dated in there and toys didn't work. The sensory area had things that didn't work. One of the fish bubble lights is full of big chunks of I don't know what. The toilets are very dated, floor sticky, all the fixtures are loose and generally tired. Sadly can't get my double pushchair through any of the doors so wouldn't be able to visit without another adults help. The lighting is really poor and we were there until it was dark outside and not much more was switched on. The under 5 ball pit area was in darkness and so was the biggest green and black slide inflatable area. I'm sad to say all this because I've met the owners and they are lovely people and they also run tiny town which is an amazing play area so I think we will stick to just going there instead. Seems maybe covid has affected this business"
"Great place for my 4 year old, bouncy castles, role play, soft play and really decent food portions. Went twice in the half term holiday. Only issue is with the parking but there is a free car park down the road."
"Great concept however everything is filthy. The facility could definitely benefit from a deep clean. It’s understandable that with so many children playing every day things get dirty however it seems a deep clean had not been done in while. We have been to other soft plays in the area which also have imagination play areas and I’ve never seen anything so dirty. It’s a shame as the staff were very friendly and the bouncy area is great but just not clean at all. Post lockdowns you would expect much better."
