"Nice clean store wide aisles helpful assistant."
"The Hinckley Tesco is by no means the largest Tesco, but it is incredibly well stocked all the time, probably something to do with having a large distribution hub on the outskirts of town. It does most of what you need on you r weekly shop, good alcohol selection, it’s too small to have clothes and some of the other things you get in the Tesco Extra’s but it’s still very good. They have a petrol station and do click and collect, I would recommend getting a Clubcard as you can make significant savings on lots of items. Good little supermarket."
"Just popped in for some bits. I was served by the most miserable person anyone can imagine. Normally the staff here are great friendly and courteous, but not this time. I have been served by this person previously and they were miserable then, thought it was a one off, as we are allowed a bad day. But no, she's miserable all the time. No please, thank you or anything. My advice, get a new job, as customer service to those people who contribute to your wages, you know the ones......customers- goes a long way."
"Good store just a shame it's not bigger and the car park had bigger spaces"
"Literally been shopping here over 10 years and had my first absolutely awful experience tonight. About 9:30pm i went in to buy a carton of milk and 3 sticks of All Purpose glue (i make costumes/props etc. I've been buying this glue from there forever and never been asked for ID) this time since it was late, only the self checkouts were open, i scan the glue and it tells me that it needs to be inspected by an employee to see if i am the age of 25, (I'm 28) so an employee (18 years of age) comes over and judges that i look 24. Refuses to let me buy the glue because i have no ID (never needed it) i showed all other forms of ID i had on me, he wasn't having it, so i get the manager involved, he judges that i am over the age of 25 but "Tesco policy" forbids him to disagree with another employee. I ask for proof of this policy, he doesn't give it, he suggests calling the police, i agree, he calls, so now i wait about half an hour for the police to arrive (they never do) the manager comes over with his phone with a supposedly police officer on the phone, the officer says that no police can come, the officer on the phone was no help, would not admit that Tesco policy is not Law, the officer refused to search my file which would prove my age... i don't even think the manager called the police, it could have been anyone on the phone to be honest. The manager refused to give his name because i wanted to make a complaint, that's pretty much the bulk of it... all over some fking glue -_- i went Sainsbury's afterwards and brought glue without a problem eventhough it cost nearly twice as much. The Tesco staffs' reasoning was illogical, their behaviour was unlawful I'm sure, they had no consistency, rude and incompetent throughout. Absolute pss take, sent my anxiety sky high. Never shopping there again."
