"Called in for a few groceries and while there picked up 4 jam doughnuts , when I opened the bag I noticed the sell by or best before date had been penned in on a sticker note, endless to say they were a bit on the dry side so look at the label before you purchase in this shop.☹️"

This store also has a Costa coffee machine, which makes the visit much more appealing. If you're after essentials it's well worth a visit."

"I really like this Tesco store, I use it regularly given its proximity. They occasionally have some nice reduced bits near the fridges and tills. Nice clean store, lovely staff who are always willing to help.They have security, and sanitising things just to the left of door when you enter. Nice atmosphere."

"Honestly this Tesco's has numerous issues. First I'll say that you need to check dates on everything, don't trust that the staff have actually done their job. Bread is especially bad for this since it was only yesterday I seen several loafs with the 5th of May on them. Then there is the refrigerators which isn't entirely the staffs fault they're badly designed. But too many times have I seen the door being left open by annoying customers, which again is no fault of the staff. What is the fault of the staff is that these doors are left open for extended periods of time and on hot days like recently the milk refrigerator is reaching 8°C and above! Not fit for sale at these temperatures... The meat in the chiller is also a massive concern since again, its often over its safe storage temperature! The shop is generally a bit of a mess, I wouldn't say terrible to look at. But for the amount of staff I've seen on at a single time it shouldn't be as bad as it is. I've worked in retail and I know the job well I manned a store bigger than that with just the two of us and no fancy self service til either. Meaning one person had to clean, restock, face up, and generally do all the shop floor/stockroom tasks alone. Numerous times I've gone to pay for my stuff and no one is there, forcing me to use the self service machine which is there to relieve busy times, or for people who prefer not to engage with other people. I don't mind using the self service, my problem is where the hell is the person who mans the til because from the state of the shop he/she is not working! The issues I've stated above are compounded by the fact the store has more than enough staff for the job. The staff should count their lucky stars I'm not its manager or even supervisor, I would have you doing laps around that store, it takes less than 10 seconds to check those fridges are closed. As for the managers and supervisors seriously get your act together because it might look okay to joe blog but to anyone who has worked in the same area of retail, its a terrible state! Lastly, I've had members of staff tell my parents to use the self service and then walk away from the til, they're old and prefer face to face.. Next time it happens I'll be naming and shaming you."
