"The amazing thing about this place is the amount of produce contained in such a small area. The triumph of quality over space makes it a little gem."
"Disappointed that the store doesn't sell fizzy pop and other such items. It is all own brand and health stuff! Sometimes you just want something non healthy! Has a range to say the least if you are in hospital for a long period of time and meal deals are ok. They have self serve tills and staff + customer service are ok!"
"The scene...the hottest day of the year, in a hospital, a ward full of very ill patients, mostly elderly. By tea time the ice machine breaks down, in an overstretched NHS hospital, a place we can all use for free, we have patients distressed and upset. The ice machine will take time to fix, but we have stores in the atrium, stores selling over prices product on the basis of 'supply and demand', so they can up the prices, and subsequently make more profits, out of those in a vulnerable situation, in a hospital, this gets ignored, as its a reflection of the capitalist society today...As a parent of one of these suffering patients, I wasn't prepared to look on, and its only ice, not really a commodity...What happens next...I walk into your M&S food store and explain the dreadfully distressing situation, surely that part of these people, these business that have some humanity left will gladly want to help a fellow man out, and give some ice to these very poorly, vulnerable patients in distress...the answer from your Manager Chris, "We will sell it to them all at a £1 a bag"...I do s hope Chris feels proud of himself that he took advantage of an opportunity to make more profit for M&S, at the suffering of others and really thinks that although as a Manager he can give a gesture of good will, rather try and make a quick buck for M&S from vulnerable ill people. I'm disgusted and appalled at the sheer greed and avarice at the suffering of ones fellow man"
"It's just a small marks and Spencers but when you're in hospital any shops a special one, nice to have a wander round."
