Reviews
"How are the council allowing this cafe to charge such ridiculous prices! The food is fairly horrific and hygiene is optional."
"Fully appreciate cafe prices are more expensive these days and you can understand why, but given this place is serving no frills, low end food and drink, the prices are extraordinary. £4.95 for a piece of cake is more than you’d pay from some sort of fancy artisan bakery in the area. It does put you off spending more money. Prices aside, the chap who served us was excellent!"
"Probably some of the worst, yet expensive, coffee I’ve ever had. As well as tasting awful it was scalding hot, and has caused a burn injury. Cakes were alright but nothing special, but £17 for two coffees and two pieces of cake is extortionate."
"Not sure why everyone slates this place , tea was good, carrot cake was exception and fresh and the staff were polite . Price £6 ish which is cheaper than Starbucks and better quality. I’ll come back again"
"The cafe really needs improvement. The food is low quality and expensive, they don't have decent options for veggie and vegan. The service can be really slow. The decor and design leads a lot to be desired and the owner is a creep. There just doesn't seem to be a love for the business its just about trying to make money rather than it being a good cafe. Instead of making improvements they just ignore the problems. Some of the staff are friendly and make the best of it. It's also nice you can get ice-cream there."
