"Attended a wake in the Fairfield Inn. The buffet was very good and well laid out in the allocated room. Bar service was very good as was the drinks from the buffet. Enough seating for those attending. Very good all round place to go."

"went today 26/2/23 will list faults and good 1....The MOST important thing is EVERY ONE was complaining how cold it was in the room. it was the same the week before so get that sorted as you will lose customers 2....Tell your cook to test the things befor getting them out in the serving trays. IE carrots not cooked, mashed spuds got a very bad tast to them. NOT PROPER spuds. all greens not cooked. not only us complaining but a lot of other people as well. In fact the person did come and take them back to the kitchen after every one had been served. I prsume they looked at all the plates with veg on them being sent back 3.....Beef Pork and Turkey melted in you mouth and VERY tasty PLUS FOR THE PUB 4.....When the server ask what would you like and you say some of each please they give you a slice of each meat. NOW when you say just pork/beef/turky please, then I would expect three slice of pork, same as if you would ask for bit of each not just two thin bits. 5.....Staff very good and helpfull Hope you can get these things sorted and you will have a good pub Regards Tom"

"Had a party there on 15th. Bit disapointed that on arival to set up room still was not free. Also had to sweep floor myself ready for our guests to arrive!! Function room ok..but just ok!!"

"Lovely place, went here for a wedding party and they did an amazing job, staff were all over looking after the party and serving drinks up fast as well as tidying up and gave lots of smiles. Very well decorated and nothing felt out dated cozy-modern feel and it was nice sitting outside and playing jenga! Spacious but cozy, Lovely lovely place, homey atmosphere for a special occasion, it was so easy to feel comfortable in a new place. + Toilets were easy to find, were clean and well maintained too!"
