"A popular pub with the locals, good atmosphere. Close to the shopping area or Queens Road. Reasonable choice of ales with a really good pub food menu."
"Most recently visited to watch England's final group game for the 2022 Quatar World Cup. Different staff from years ago but still offering a decent selection of drinks options in a very cosy, traditional English pub atmosphere. Some friends ordered food. Some of us found it all delicious but some complained of the salad being too salty (might have been brine from the olives). Regardless of such opinions, this remains a great local pub that is well worth a visit if you're in the area an fancy a drink or some grub."

"I have not had food there recently, so cannot review that (although I saw it coming out and it looked great!). The remodel has transformed the pub. It's now a casual, clean pub with good decor. The outdoor space is just okay, but they have limited space to expand due to its location."
