"Wonderful pub situated at the bottom of the hill, while entering into Halifax from Beacon Hill or Shibden hill hike. You can also grab delicious food on Sundays, they serve from 12 to 5 PM. We weren't lucky, but it certainly smelled delicious. Great selection of beers on tap, family friendly and dog friendly. Has a great outdoor sitting available. Just a couple hundred meters away from Halifax train station."

"What a cracking and welcoming pub. We were out for a special occasion and the bar staff couldn't do enough. Hannah was really attentive and bubbly. The young lady serving food (sorry, didn't get her name) was also lovely. 12 of us had a Sunday dinner and every meal was spot on. Hats off to Jo (her gravy is the dogs doo-dahs)"
