"Nice to see some new life breathed into the place, and an interesting range of beers. We visited with my partners mother who was once a regular and lagers were a bit strong for her however, and the seating options could do with a rethink. The narrow perching benches and tall barrels in the back room weren't very comfortable, where as the three tables with upholstered benches proved popular all evening. Thanks to bar staff who brought over a padded stool while we were sat in the back We'll be back for another visit, but crossing our fingers for a comfy seat."
