"I used to enjoy this pub decent beer decent prices but the hearse outside probably says it all . I have not been in since the landlord labelled people suffering with mental health or suicides drama Queen s or need to man up not sure if it’s the same landlord but if the hearse is outside I’m avoiding til change of hands"

"This used to be a wonderful pub indeed. However Sam Smith’s has definitely made it not the most attractive place to go at all. This is so sad because the landlord and the people that go there are very friendly indeed. For a standard real ale it is extremely expensive at just over £3 a pint. Also there is far too many restrictions within this pub courtesy of Sam Smith the Brewery owner. He has stopped people using there mobile phones within the pub, however I am not sure how he gets away with this because legally he can’t stop you due to it being a public house not a private house. As I said earlier the landlord is still very friendly and helpful and this is a shame because he definitely doesn’t deserve to be working in this kind of establishment where he is undervalued by the company. Also I would say it is not very accessible for anybody in a wheelchair as it is a very small pub and there is a step as you go into the pub. If you want to give this pub a try I wouldn’t say don’t do it, but be prepared for an expensive drink in a very quiet pub."
