"The pub had a great atmosphere, staff were friendly and pleasant. The food quality was great and very good portion sizes. We went with a small dog and they were very accommodating and dog friendly. Would strongly recommend the house soda drinks as they were fantastic on a hot day! Food was served quickly once ordered and waitress was attentive, friendly and polite! Overall a fantastic experience and we will be booking again to go back with family."
"Went on Sunday lunchtime for a family meal. Took a small dog we were looking after as the pub says it's dog friendly. This apparently only applies to the bar area. However, staff were very understanding and considerate and we kept her under our table in the dining area. There was a good menu and a separate one for children. The meals they had were very good value. For the adults we had 3 meat Sunday roast, burger and some others. All well presented and tasty and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful and the service good. My pint of Landlord was most acceptable. When the bill came it was pointed out to us that a service charge was included but could be removed if we wished. We would have left a tip anyway but with it being included I hope that the staff who deserve it, get it. A revisit to here may well get a five star review next time."
