"A new pub for me but the staff and locals have been accommodating to me and engaged in conversation. Friendly staff and nice kept drinks. I've not eaten here so can't comment."

"A traditional style pub, lots of choice of drinks and some quite original ones too, for example they had a board with some alcoholic slush style drinks, I tried the Aspalls cider and blackcurrant slush, not one I would have again as it was a bit too sweet and the slush was only really half formed but i thought it was different, the lady on the bar was pleasant and helpful, I liked how the pub was split into sections, and there was also a pool table, on entry the pub had a stale dog smell so we knew they were dog friendly which you don't always find, there were a few doggies in who were all well behaved, would visit again."
