"Came in to take advantage of the Closing Down sales! We were immensely pleased to discover a large variety of high-end designer goods at 50%+ discounts! We secured a few bags amongst other items in our scavenge around the store. Upon returning home I was disappointed to find my Valentino bag did not have a shoulder strap, and was virtually unusable without it. I took it back in the following morning to see if anything could be done. The gentleman behind the counter could not have been more helpful! He went and found another Valentino bag that was almost identical that had been put aside for damages, and took the strap from there to be used on my bag. I was so chuffed as I didn’t want to have to return it, and now it’s as good as new!"

"Its a shame that it's closing and it looks a bit like a jumble sale Inside now , but some real bargains to be had . Just ignore any price tags and take items you fancy to the checkout and they can let you know the actual price then take an extra 20% off and grab a bargain b4 it closes cometely"

"It’s a tat shop now. Complete waste of time. No service quality, May as well order on Amazon. We didn’t have any problems, so in not an angry customer or anything like that. It just felt horrible. They didn’t have the heating on or half the lights. Jean on handbags seemed like she couldn’t be bothered to be there. Manager had to come over and didn’t even look at us to acknowledge us."

"I called in yesterday to pick up a Click and Collect order on the second floor. The staff are so helpful here. It's a shame to see what once was such a vibrant, beautiful, bustling department store reduced to just a ghost of its former self. It really feels as though the heart has been ripped out of the store. Come on, House of Fraser! Don't give up on this stunning landmark department store in Cardiff....put some investment into it and make it a destination shop customers want to visit once again!"

"An old, slightly run down and dusty Department Store, soon to close down, I think. I quite like it because it feels old fashioned and a little retro but it is always empty, there are little signs of decay everywhere and there's a sadness in the air. Nonetheless, at least one staff member (the manager of the suiting department) was very helpful and attentive in helping my partner find a suit for an interview. There is wheelchair accessibility throughout most of it and a lift."
