"Just had a horrible experience with the staff from this this school. Thoroughly rude, disrespectful and had no control of a large group of teenagers.. some of whom were also rude and disrespectful. No toilet break on a 4 hour journey is no excuse to all of you at I ce bursting in on our facilities, without a care for the cleaner trying to do her job, as well as keep everything clean as covid is still around. We go out of our way to accommodate these school trips once a year at our extremely popular campsite, but after the events of last weekend we will never again welcome school trips here."
"the bullying here is horrible and the teachers don’t do anything about it"
"I’ve been at the school for a year and so I’m not going to be the wise person to be commenting on this but oh well. So, I shall start with the pros, get to the cons and then just a summary(PLUS PHOTOS!) PROS ———— -Most of the teachers are pretty layed back except for a few which you do Learn to deal with after a while. -The pe is great! We do it twice a week where each session is an hour. The type of sport depends of what time of year it is. -We get barely any homework. Per week I get one to two pieces which are always very simple. -Our pe kit is proper comfy and it’s always good when it’s too hot and you are allowed to wear it into school. -You are always with 1/2+ of your friends in lessons. Although they can change sets the classes are very divested and so you are never lonely. -The food is cheap and affordable -We learn a lot in lesson and most of it stays in my memory. There is also a wide plethora of lessons such as dance, German and maths. -You can finally use a fingerprint to pay for things instead of cash! CONS ———- -The main uniform is quite uncomfortable and I hate wearing it. -The choice of food is poor and it’s not of a great quality. I would recommend having snacks or a packed lunch along with some credit on your account. -Sometimes they are very strict on random things such as no going on the grass or having to wait on the pavement. NOTES ———— If you are dealing with bullying or have any type of problem I would 1000% recommended talking to your tutor. However if it is a very serious topic then I would go to your head of house as issues are always sorted out quickly and easily. You do not need your own notebooks only a pencil case. It only really needs the bare minimum as when things such as coloured pens and pencils, rulers and glue are needed the teacher always has plenty to share. I’m not sure what else to add but if there is anything I will add it here V"
"Y11 student here. Teachers and lessons are great. The way the school acts towards bullying is borderline useless, the way they deal with students who are basically prats - is rubbish... and covid 19: Lack of cleaning Lack of social distance space Lack of covid rules Lack of covid support Lack of total braincells"
