"The lunch buffet priced at 7.99 is an absolute steal if you like Bangladeshi/Indian food. There is a wide variety and it tastes really good. Hidden gem in comparison to the other buffets in Cardiff and Swansea!"
"I would not eat here, go round the back of the shop to see the rat infestation outside the kitchen door which is usually open. Also one of the other reviews talks about a cockroach and insect infestation."
"There is no warning on Just Eat about the food arriving cold, with heating instructions on the label. We ordered a pile of food for a birthday and were ravenous by the time it arrived, so I was fuming when I realised it was all stone cold. We had so many dishes it was totally impractical to do them one at a time in the microwave. In the oven would mean 40 m to include oven warm up time. After I stormed off to ring up and complain, I decided to put a bit of a few things on a plate and warm up that way. The food itself was without doubt "C grade". Many of the dishes - including the 3 vegetarian ones I chose - had a horrible ghee taste. NO WARNING on the website about ghee, which no other place uses, and no good if you are Vegan like me. The prawn puree bread was so horrible my son left it. The poppadoms were stale. The Naan was disgusting and tasted like no other naan from the many places we've used over the years. The Aloo cakes were actually aloo mixed in with what seemed like kidney beans, and was bland and horrible. One of the 2 chicken curries was absolutely swimming in oil. Birthday meal ruined. Horrible food. £60 wasted and trying to get some sort of refund via Just Eat now. The person I spoke to at the restaurant was aware Just Eat carried no warning about the food being sent cold, but he didn't seem to care. They think it's ok to be on there and not warn customers. No apology, no offer of a refund, nothing."
"Really nice Baguette, chicken was lovely and baguette was filled nicely. For £5 got a meal which came with a bottle, crisps and baguette, which is really good value. Really delicious and filled me up. Women was really kind and lovely too :)"
"Just attempted to finish my salad box as I write this, 17:30 on a Sunday. The place shouldn’t be open. The salad portion was very small and limited. The coleslaw and potato salad tasted like it had been standing for hours where the Mayo hardens. Couldn’t eat it. There was a small amount of sweet corn left and I asked for sweetcorn in the salad and the person serving even left some in the bowl rather than putting them all in just to seem like they have sweetcorn option left for the next person. Weird. Brother ordered a baguette, none of the fillings had a full portion left but rather than saying that they suggested we mixed two flavours for free as if they’re doing us a favour. Not impressed. Nothing on La Mina"
