"This place is overpriced. They want you in and out in a flash. Constantly asking if you have finished, probably so they can give you the dessert menu. Seated at a high table. Uncomfortable seating. Food was okay. Staff were nice and friendly but under pressure from owner to keep harassing us. Owner was too familiar using a pseudo Yorkshire accent. Tiresome. Not the relaxing evening I was hoping for. Won’t be going back soon"
"Amazing place, the food was absolutely beautiful, the staff were lovely and the service was quick! First time here, will definitely be back again. Thanks guys!"
"First time I've been since they changed the menu. Took some friends from "North Leeds" and we all had a great time. The staff were helpful and attentive but not in your face. The food was excellent and interesting. We ordered 8 dishes for the 4 of us which was about right but as it is tapas you can always order more. With lots of wine, beer and a G&T the bill came to £80 per couple which we thought was good value. PS you need to book well in advance."
"Hidden gem in Cleckheaton we stumbled on years ago! We are regulars at Tappinos now and it’s consistently a great meal out. Make sure you book to get a table. Not cheap as those tapas quickly add up but the food is excellent. What we love: - Unique dishes which are presented well - Great idea to serve Italian tapas allows you to try many dishes - Perfect for sharing Food recommendations: - Tartufo Nero pizza and grilled octopus are my favourites - Handmade ravioli which often appears as a special is a must try What could be improved: - More cocktail choices would be nice - Some of the food is overpriced for what you get - 1.5 hr table booking not long enough (should be 2 hours)"
"Fantastic food. Lovely surrounding. A little slice of Sicily (and some other bits of the med) in West Yorkshire. The Cannolo and espresso were worth the visit alone."
