Butt karahi

"Had a wonderful meal, ordered 2 x 1kg of the lamb karahi cooked in makhan and it was sublime. Was enough to feed 5 men with 12 rotis so can't complain about the portions. Only thing that I'd wish to add is the place needs to do authentic crushed green chutney rather than mint sauce which does nothing for the food. Cooked fresh so took about 30 mins but it was well worth the wait. Highly recommended."

"What can i say… from the starters to the mains, to the tea, OUTSTANDING FOOD. The starters were grilled to perfection, i loved the chops especially as they had the fat around the side (man food!)nice n spicy, the lamb karahi 1kg in desi makhan is unlike nothing us brits have eaten in the UK and yes people it was LAMB, tandoori roti nice and crispy and tea was good old school doodh pathi, i cant fault the food one bit. Customer service was brilliant and on point, food was fresh and out on time and the owner was a very nice humble guy and made sure we was happy and had what we wanted. I will be coming back with the boys because as i said, unique food which tastes great is a no brainer. These people are doing something DIFFERENT, bringing food which we can only eat in the cities of pakistan, encourage em! Keep up the good work guys!!"

"The food was authentic Pakistani cuisine. We really enjoyed everything we ordered. However, rather steep stairs for my elderly parents to get to first floor where the restaurant was based. Place was very noisy and over crowded. Staff were very co-operative and changed our table to better one. Restaurant could do with a better premises once established."

"Mixed Grill starter was nice, though lamb chop was slightly chewy and quite thin... possibly mutton. Disappointed with the Butt Karai Lamb dish... didn't work being cooked in olive oil the flavours were stifled so much so that we had to request salt to season and bring out the flavours. The Chicken version on the bone was only slightly better. Chips were standard as were the naan breads."
