Kimchi

"Ok. So we *really* wanted to have a Korean BBQ and were so excited to see that there was one in Cardiff. There were some reviews that made us a bit worried but we tried it anyway. Note that they only accept cash. But there is a cash machine about 100m along the road. So really not a problem. I am so glad that we did. This is a small family run business. The staff were very courteous. The food was awesome. The place was super busy and this was mid week. We left having had a great meal and also felt so happy to have supported a small business rather than a random chain. Highly recommend."

"Overall pretty decent, but some of the food was a bit bland (kimchi was too light in taste). Service was ok, the waitress who served us was quite friendly. There’s a decent amount of meat with the BBQ items so it was very filling. The quality of the meat was on par with the price we paid. I had to ask for ssamjang (sauce you have with the meat), which I would have expected to have come with the food as default, but they provided on request. Value was not bad for the meat, but I find the sides expensive, especially considering they are mediocre."

"Disappointing. It’s not an authentic korean restaurant the food was tasteless and it had not much to do with Korean food (perhaps it comes close to Chinese food). When I asked to pay, the owner said it was cash only but I had no cash so he let me paid by card."
