Reviews of Goldney Hall
"Very beautiful place to have a wedding or any event. Nice beautiful gardens. Historical budings including an old grotto that was build with over 20 different shells brought in from the Carabian. Although it does look beautiful, I feel sorry for the damage done to the coral reef. But I guess back in the day, they didn't know any better. We attended a wedding here and it was spectacular. You don't need to do much to dress it up with flowers etc because the place is already beautiful with the gardens and trees. The staff were nice and very attentive to detail. They went out of their way to make sure they met our requets. If you have a reason to celebrate with family and friends then this is the place for you. Shout out to the lady who gave us the tour and the historical background of the grotto. Even people in Bristol were shocked that it existed. Make it a point to visit if you can."
"Excellent if dated student accommodation in wonderful location. Lovely grounds. Welcoming and helpful to first years on arrival. Outstanding shared study environment. Occasional private bookings limit student access to part of grounds and buildings."
"Really nice wedding venue in the heart of Clifton. It is amazing the size of the gardens in this built up area of Bristol and it even has its very own Grotto as well ! The staff are fantastic, thank you everyone at Goldney Hall for a beautiful weekend I really enjoyed photographing at your venue."
"Lovely place! We went for a wedding. It was very beautiful and fairytale like."
"This a Bristol university halls of residence based in Clifton and set within the most stunning grounds. I live here for 3 years as a student of the university and absolutely loved it. Great sense of community in a great location and lovely little self catering flats. Absolutely the best halls at Bristol when I was there. Visited recently as a walk down memory lane and salt no thing had changed in the student accommodation which now looks pretty tired 13 years later."
