"My son went here for 3 years of secondary. I would agree with one of the previous reviewers in that it has a culture of toxic masculinity with a lot of bullying in our experience. There are some very dedicated teachers among a few dubious ones but the problem is that the whole culture of the school needs to change drastically."

"This one star is entirely based on one member of staff. Apart from this individual I am completely satisfied with the school. Mr Kirby the exam coordinator who is probably the most awful staff member I have ever met. He seems to relish putting students in discomfort and embracement whilst also being a nasty person. One can not have a debate with him as he is always right. He believes the world revolves around him and you are a mere nuisance. If he has not quit or been fired I would highly recommend the board of governors in considering it. He does not bring any form of empathy or sense of joy to the school. My opinion has resinated with other students from QEH."
