About the Business
Welcome to Thornwell Primary School, an establishment that has been serving the community of Bulwark in Chepstow, United Kingdom for many years. We pride ourselves on being a point of interest in our local community, providing education and support to our students and families.
We are a primary school that works with children from ages four to eleven, offering a high-quality education that aims to inspire and challenge all of our students. Our dedicated team of teachers and support staff work tirelessly to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that promotes the academic, social, and emotional development of all our students.
Our curriculum is designed to provide a broad and balanced education that meets the needs of all our students. We have a strong focus on literacy, numeracy, and science, but also encourage our students to explore their interests through a range of subjects such as art, music, and physical education.
We believe in developing the whole child, and our curriculum includes a range of enrichment opportunities that promote creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork. Our students have access to a variety of clubs and activities, such as debating club, gardening club, sports clubs, and much more.
At Thornwell Primary School, we recognize that every child is unique and has different abilities and needs. We work closely with parents and carers to provide support and guidance, ensuring that our students' individual needs are met, and they are given the opportunity to reach their full potential.

"Children relocated here and son is type 1 diabetic. Settled in quickly. Staff were trained and do an amazing job of looking after him. Asked if they would go back to their old school and a definate and resounding NO. Mr Appleby the head teacher is very approachable and is doing amazing things with the school. Highly recommended."
