Reviews of Cliff-Top Walk
"A lovely walk with great views. Be aware some parts of the pathway are quite rocky"
"Fantastic walk with astonishing views. Make sure you bring some trekking shoes as the path can get rough and steep. My 6 years old managed to do 1 hour up without much trouble. If you're lucky you will also see come wild goats."
"Stunning views. Lovely activity to do with friends or family. Quite steep in come areas, but well worth it."
"This is a circular walk around the cliff tops of the Cheddar Gorge. The traditional starting point is a steep climb up a set of steps known as Jacob's Ladder. Once at the higher level above the cliffs , the walk becomes very scenic. It can be fairly steep in some places with rough surfaces but in general it is a walk accessible to anyone of reasonable fitness. Aside from spectacular views the flora and fauna make the excursion worthwhile. This was the first time in the UK for example that I have seen mountain goats freely roaming which I now understand are a feature of the Cheddar Gorge."
"Stunning views along the Cliff Top Walk. The path is steep in places with some flights of steps. Well worth the effort, just go prepared with suitable shoes. On a good day you can see for miles."
