Reviews of Longleat Safari Park
"Really enjoyed seeing the animals and they’re clearly well looked after, but on a cold winter day there are no indoor areas to eat your own food and the restaurant we sat in was very cold. There was also a huge queue for baby changing facilities which leads me to think there are not enough considering the likely young family clientele Longleat will have. It must be carnage for the facilities in the summer months and weekend."
"Really lovely visit. The enclosures are very well kept and the grounds are lovely. The festival of lights were beautiful. Only downside is that they do not accept any cash payments throughout the park, restaurant, coffee shop etc. It’s all contactless."
"The safari is great. Lots of animals. You can feed the deer for £1. You can even help feed other animals under the vip experiences. But if you don't want to lose parts of your car just bypass the monkey section. If you don't have a car, there is a bus that takes you around at an extra cost. The lions will come right up to your car so it's a must keep all windows closed. Enjoy."
"Having been put off several years ago pre lockdown due to whole site feeling generally run down, we returned to give it another try and we're pleasantly surprised. The Safari was fantastic, we were out for about 3hrs, closeup experiences with Giraffes, Camels, Deers & Monkeys! thankfully managed to avoid any damage to the car but others lost parking sensors and trim etc. The main square was well kept, the Koala creek and lorikeet feeding being highlights plus the cruise on the lake (or leat) and feeding sealions a real treat. The prices for the 'extras' like feeding were very reasonable and was nice to allow kids to fully experience everything without breaking the bank. Great job Longleat! we'll definitely return."
"Absolutely superb!!! We did the Gold VIP tour and it was amazing from start to finish and well worth the money. Our ranger for the day, Oscar, was brilliant. Some fabulous memories of feeding the animals up close."
