Reviews of Rockwood House
"Nice flats if you are thinking of renting or buying the grounds are lovely"
"Lovely little place"
"Remember it as a pub back in the day with Ronnie Butler on the door"
"Amazing"
"Lovely place to live but expensive. Beautiful views from the front of the house. Unfortunately due to it being grade 2 listed it's very difficult to replace the sash windows some of which are rotting. Built mid - late 18th century when Brinsham court moved from what is now Oxwick farm house. Private residence to the Caters, then the Randolph's. Who in turn leased it to the Fox's of Brislington. Siblings Richard Anstice Fox, William Poole Fox and Frances Janet Fox died childless here in 1939, 1944 and 1945 respectively. Was a hotel by the late 1950's, then a nightclub. Was converted to flats 1988 - 1990. We lived in Flat 27 :)"
