"I took my brother and nephews here for dinner between Christmas and New year. There was a bit of a queue to get in and it seemed to take forever. We couldn't really tell why it was taking forever either as the restaurant was half empty and there seemed to be plenty of staff floating around. When we were finally seated we discovered that they were only using half the restaurant. Again it took quite a while for them to take our order. The waiter said it would be around a 25 minute wait for food so my brother took one of the boys to the Lego shop during the wait. The food actually came out before they were back and they were kind enough to pop theirs back under the heat lamp until they got back. And they kept their eye on us and bought the food out as soon as they spotted they were back. So back to the food....we ordered: 1x hot dog which came with a side of chips and corn 1x pasta (which didn't come with anything so I got him some garlic bread to go with) 2x sesame chicken strips and we asked if we could upgrade our side to dirty fries and they said we could and it was well worth it! The kids meals came with a fruity number, my brother had a can of monster (they didn't have any fizzy drinks working that day) and I had some yummmy cocktail. I forget what it was called but after a long day mooching around London it was beautiful, it was delicious. I was actually really impressed with the food. Everyone cleared their plates! The staff were helpful once we were eventually seated and served. The toilets were a bit nasty and you had to walk through a bunch of staff sitting around eating burger king to get to the toilet which didn't look great considering the wait we had just experienced. Total bill came to just over £70."
"We came here just expecting a basic meal but the staff were so welcoming and friendly, and the food was seriously amazing. I had a candle at our table, that I had purchased, and one of the staff actually offered to light it for me which was really sweet. So we had a nice candle lit meal and the waitress was brilliant and attentive, friendly and smiling, happy to assist. It was just brilliant."
"The quality of food and the service is not as good as it used to be. The drinks are very good. The spicy taco salad had a weird spicy after taste, so could not finish it. Upgraded to ultimate ribs still barely any meat on them.l and not properly seasoned. The version of the BBQ sauce is not very nice. Waitresses were over busy and kept forgetting what was asked of them."
"Chanel at TGI Friday’s provided an exemplary service. She was friendly, attentive, and great with the children. She was the highlight of a trip that otherwise involved lukewarm food (which had to be sent back, one of the dishes also had forgotten ingredients) and saw people around us walking out because they were not given food. The wait time for the food was a little over acceptable, especially seeing as we had children with us. Our table also had no cutlery on it. We were given cutlery one by one which was confusing, and one of the sets came already used with food residue on it (pictured). It was truly a pleasure to interact with Chanel, and our table all agreed we should write a review because she was such a delight to have as our waitress. If this rating was based on our server only it would be 5 stars! Everything else was 1 star."
"This is my favourite TGI Fridays. Made a lot of good memories here over the years. Most recently, I visited in December. I'd built up a lot of stripes so was able to get a full surf and turf for free. It was also my partner's birthday so he got a free dessert. The food took a little while to come out, but I was really impressed by the waiter who was polite and attentive, and also remembered all our orders without writing anything down. He didn't even have to write down the code from the stripes or voucher used, he just remembered the numbers. What a memory! As always, the food was great, drinks were great."
