"We just love going here. Our children now think of Anne and Tony as family. A lovely place to visit Weston Super Mare and not far from Bristol or Wales . We been here six summers here now. Can wait to visit again in 2018"
"We stayed at Cherrymax in June 2013 when attending a wedding nearby. Anne and Bob were very friendly and welcoming, and our room was clean and comfortable. This B&B is cosy, without feeling too claustrophobic! We would definitely recommend it."
"I stayed here with family in mid July as we were attending a wedding evening reception locally. On arrival we were greeted by Bob and Anne, shown to our family room and given tea and biscuits to enjoy in the huge garden which was lovely and relaxing. Our hosts were very welcoming and accommodating (I apologise for my 6yr old seeking you out for little chats, he took a shine to you!) Breakfast was wonderful, the beds were very comfy and the cottage was quaint and charming. We would definitely stay here again."
"We stayed at Cherry Max Cottage in July 2013 and very much enjoyed our time in Anne and Bob's home and soaking up the beautiful surroundings. It was like home from home for us and our 18 month old daughter who enjoyed watching and feeding the chickens, ducks, geese with Bob. We found the room very satisfactory and clean and the breakfasts were good. Bob and Anne are very welcoming sorts and we would highly commend them and indeed hope to return for a longer stay next year. If you do not want to feel part of the family, then perhaps this place isn't for you, but we loved it very much !!"
"The only good thing about this place is that the eggs that we got for breakfast were from free range hens who lived in the garden. Unfortunately we did not even get as many as we liked (we asked for an egg for our son but got bacon instead). The hosts made us feel very unwelcome and we felt that everything is too much trouble, so we didn't even dare to ask for the extra egg for my son. When we arrived we found that the beds in family room are very high and positioned in a way, that a child can fall off. So we asked the owners if it is possible to put the double bed and single bed together so we could sleep all together protecting our children (aged 3 months and 2 years old) from falling out of bed at night. Not only they did not agree, stating that for just one night it is too much hassle (they would need to move 2 night stands) but they also made comments to each other out-loud about how we are strange to ask for something like this and how children should be sleeping in their own cot beds, that everybody else brings with them!). They didn't even lower their voices to make us feel less intimidated. Our son did fall down at night and was very distressed we had a sleepless night. Owners didn't even say they were sorry about this. the place is not very clean, large black spider in the bathroom is part of the decor. You can tell that it's been there for long. Everything there put me off. If we had not arrived there with two very tired children who needed to go to sleep immediately we would definitely have left."
