"It's a shame, I really liked this pub, but their opening times are never updated, and they never pick up the phone or reply to emails. Been disappointed too often over the last 4 months, walking all the way there to find out they're closed. Edit after the reply: I fully agree with being closed for the holidays, but I was talking about the Fridays/Saturdays when you have events. You are an events/wedding place which is fully understandable, but your local customers go to your venue to find out that you are not open to the public. A simple update on your Google page can avoid this for customers that specifically plan on going there. When calling ahead, sending emails or a Google message, I never get a reply."

"Friendly bar staff, nice atmosphere not too busy on a Wednesday evening but didn't feel empty either. Good range of beers on tap. Would definitely come back."

"I attended a family wedding reception here, this was the first time I visited here under new management. I had hired and used this venue several times in the past over the years. The venue is in a good location, and the set up is great especially if the weather is good, you have the use of inside as well as outside too. The venue is great, and the team staff were great and very helpful. A lovely place to hire for a do."

"We had our wedding at the Depot at the end of August 2021 and the events team and management went out of their way to help make it a super special day. The events manager Georgie was extremely responsive to the ever evolving plan for the day and she did a great job of making suggestions around the best way to organise everything. Gary the general manager was also super on the day and went out of his way to try and address some sound equipment issues we faced. The food was superb overall and our guests didn't stop commenting on what a lovely venue it was for a wedding. We had plenty of space for a whole raft of entertainment and the massive drop down screen and projector, was perfect for screening videos from people who couldn't attend on the day. We did have a the odd misunderstanding on communications and in the evening reception some planned food was not delivered, but we Depot were great and we reconciled everything within a week of the event! All our guests said they'd had an amazing time and thought it was one of the most fun weddings they'd ever been to and we thought so too, although we may be a tad biased! ;p"
