Reviews of Grays Boutique B&B
"Beautiful hotel, we stopped for the weekend and was very very happy. The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, we had tea, coffee and chocolate in our room when we arrived and this was replaced daily. The breakfast was outstanding with a great deal of choice. All the staff that we met were very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this place to anyone ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
"We stayed over night at this beautiful b&b and we loved it. We stayed in room 12 which was a stunning room overlooking the whole of Bath. The b&b is lovely and quiet. Everyone is so very friendly. The breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be coming back."
"Excellent welcome. Beautifully decorated, clean bedroom and bathroom with lots of added extras. Breakfast room very clean and organised, lots of food choices and very friendly staff. Car parking available, lovely gardens and a fabulous view of Bath. Short downhill leisurely walk in to the city, buses and taxis available if needed for the return journey. Would definitely recommend. Thank you."
"Very clean. Really impressed with how immaculate everything looked and smelt. Have stayed in 5* hotels around the world and this was probably the most clean. Friendly yet professional staff. Really welcoming. Beautiful decoration throughout. Really homely yet classy and timeless. Fantastic location. Just a few minutes drive to the centre of Bath which was perfect for our city break. Stunning scenery from outside the front door, to the view from our bedroom window. Not wheelchair accessible at all - so many stairs. Building situated on a steep hill. No warning anywhere when booking. Long wait for breakfast. Continental selection very small (plain yogurt or a choice of 3 cereals) and cooked breakfast took a long time to come out (although was lovely when it did). The menu is on a chalk board on the wall that is above a table that guests sit at so you have everyone gathering over at that table whilst people are trying to eat. Little menus on the table would be a lot more convenient for all. No spaces for the earlier time breakfast so had to wait until 9.30am which meant food didn't come out until 10! Bed was lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. Was meant to stay two nights but left after one as it flared my illness up so badly I needed to seek medical attention. Could have done with a mini bar in the bedroom to store drinks etc in. There is a communal fridge all the way downstairs but didn't want to chance leaving stuff in it incase another guest assumed it was complimentary. Plus I physically couldn't manage the stairs over and over. Antibacterial soap in bathroom would have been nice too. Bedroom and bathroom were very small for the price we paid. Didn't have a bath only a shower. It was fine - just not worth the price compared to other 5* accommodation we have stayed at in the past."
"My girlfriend and I had a fantastic stay last weekend. It was quiet, CLEAN, and the breakfast was fantastic. We were shocked to see Kitkats included in our tea tray upon arrival - and even more shocked that they gave us more the following day! The staff are amazing. I highly recommend staying here, we will certainly be back as we have fallen in love with the City :)"
